So what exactly is a mobitracer card?
mobitracer card is a Special Service Pack that keeps track of all registered mobile handsets.All mobile handsets registered with mobitracer card can be idenitified over just an SMS. Status checking of the handset via SMS identifies and confirms whether the handset is stolen, lost or is genuine while you buy a handset.
How does a mobitracer card work?
On purchasing a mobitracer card, you need to register your handset my sending a SMS in the prescribed format (refer to the registration procedure). Once registered, the information will be stored over the server and will be accessible any time. Owner can update the stored information in case of changes.
How does a mobitracer card, trace a lost of stolen handset?
In case a registered mobile handset is lost or stolen, owner just has to activate the "Lost Activation" by sending an SMS from any other handset registered with mobitracer card. Once the Lost Activation is confirmed by the server, handset can be traced if status is checked from the lost or stolen handset.
The moment status is checked:
1. Auto generated SMS is sent from the server to the traced handset informing the status "Handset Found" with the owner's name, place, mobile number along with two reference mobile numbers & a request to contact the owner or the references.
2. Auto generated SMS is sent to the two reference mobile numbers informing the status "Handset Found" with the new mobile number (SIM Card) that is inserted in the lost handset.
What is a the validity of mobitracer card?
mobitracer card comes with a Lifetime Registration. However, once the lost mobile is traced, the card validity expires.
How do I check the Mobile Status?
Send an SMS to 9981412345 in the following format:

What do I do when my mobile is lost or stolen?
In case your mobile is lost or stolen, you need to send an SMS to 9981412345 in the following format:
